The impact was limited strictly to the Kubana Cloud dashboard and features that depend on the resolution of the kubana.cloud domain and its subdomains.
No customer-hosted services were affected in any way. Hosted VPS instances, applications running on the App Platform, registered and managed domains, professional email services, and cPanel hosting remained fully operational throughout the incident.
The service was fully restored once the affected nameservers were brought back online.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this incident may have caused. We have taken additional measures to prevent a similar issue from occurring in the future and to further improve the resilience and availability of our DNS infrastructure.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Investigating
On 29 August 2026 at 14:31:40 UTC (16:31 CAT), some of our nameservers became temporarily unavailable for approximately 45 minutes due to a hardware-level update performed by one of our infrastructure providers.
The update required the underlying servers to be shut down, resulting in a temporary disruption to DNS resolution. Consequently, kubana.cloud was inaccessible in some regions of the world that rely on the affected nameservers.
